Contemporary Irish wooden jewelry, handmade in Ireland.
These delicate drop earrings are perfect for those who prefer something a little more dainty when it comes to your jewelry. These earrings combine tiny pieces of Irish yew wood with beautiful sterling silver box chain to add a bit of sparkle and movement. The wooden pieces are then polished with beeswax from the maker's dad's beehives in the Burren. The earrings measure 1.2cm wide with a 3.5cm drop.
Each piece is made from natural wood and so will be completely unique. While the size and shape will be as pictured, there is considerable variation in the color and grain in every piece of wood.

About the Maker
Rowena has developed this range of jewelery using sustainably sourced native Irish materials to the greatest extent possible. Coming from a family of designer makers with a strong appreciation of naturally sourced products and materials, Rowena combines new with old in her process with includes laser cutting. She is passionate about the outdoors and their preservation.
Her work is finished with Burren wildflower beeswax which she gets from her Dad, who keeps bees! This seals and protects the wood and enhances the grain.
