Locally made by Jacksonville jewelry artist Arden Bardol, the Dots Neckpiece is a one-of-a-kind statement piece from her Suspension Experiment series. Crafted from hand-formed stainless steel piano wire, the necklace features a graceful, lace-like structure adorned with vibrant polymer clay dots. Inspired by the forms of nature and the clarity of geometry, this lightweight, kinetic design invites exploration from every angle—there is no front or back.
Each necklace is individually crafted and will vary slightly in color and length, making every piece truly unique. Measuring approximately 40 inches, it can be worn long or doubled for a shorter, more compact look. A bold yet elegant exploration of form, motion, and material.
*The Suspension Experiment is the result of over two decades of Bardol exploring polymer clay and metalwork through her lens as an architect. Combining stainless steel and polymer clay, these kinetic, lace-like forms engage the human body as a platform for display and invite interaction from every angle. Each piece celebrates structure, movement, and the beauty of attachment.

Arden Bardol is a retired architect who creates wearable art and sculptural objects. Polymer clay and stainless steel are her medium. Color, texture, and shape are her tools. Using polymer and mixed metals as the palette, she creates art that is inspired by nature's graceful forms combined with clean geometric shapes. She combines simple forms to create intricate, layered compositions that are feminine, classic, and playful. The overall effect is clean, modern, and inviting art jewelry and sculptural objects.
Bardol has been creating wearable art for over 20 years.
She is a NICHE Awards Winner and a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. She has called the Jacksonville area home since 2019 and has built her polymer studio and welding shop in close proximity to the Downtown core.
