Handcrafted in Florida by Chris Messina of Silver Garden Designs, each piece features delicate resurrection ferns meticulously hand-cut from sterling silver—never cast—to preserve the individuality of every leaf.
The ferns rest against a vibrant, multi-green enamel backdrop that evokes the lush canopy of live oaks and the rich textures of the forest floor. Each fern is shaped entirely by hand, capturing both the whimsy and enduring spirit of the natural world.

All Silver Garden Designs pieces are designed and handcrafted in Jacksonville, FL, by jewelry artist Chris Messina, using traditional metalsmithing techniques enriched with stunning gemstones and textures. Her love for silver jewelry began at 18 when her grandfather gifted her an antique Danish Inuit cuff that she’s worn for 42 years, sparking a lifelong passion that led to an apprenticeship under a master silversmith.
Inspired by travels to five continents and 47 countries, Chris’s designs reflect the beauty of nature, cultural influences, and techniques passed down through generations. As a proud female-owned business, she creates one-of-a-kind pieces meant to inspire women to express their unique style—whether for everyday wear or special occasions.
