LOUIS C. TIFFANY MAGNOLIA WINDOW
Louis C. Tiffany used drapery glass to create magnolia petals and employed lead lines as part of the window design, creating the twigs and branches. His designers, studied and took care to render nature realistically.
Our lantern design is inspired by three window panels in the collection of the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, in Winter Park, FL. They originally graced his home in New York City and later his Long Island estate, Laurelton Hall, serving as a transition between indoors and outdoors, bringing inside the magnolias Tiffany loved so much.
