In 2014, master craftsman Heath Trigg created the first-ever American flag made from reclaimed whiskey barrels, earning a U.S. patent and igniting an entirely new handcrafted wood flag movement. What began as a surprise gift for a veteran-owned brewery soon evolved into a mission: after one of his flags was presented at the Pentagon and a visit to Arlington National Cemetery deepened his purpose, Heath dedicated his craft to honoring service, sacrifice, and American heritage.
