Contemporary Irish wooden jewelry, handmade in Ireland.
These large wooden hoop studs in black are a new take on the hoop earring, striking in their simplicity. They are attached to a sterling silver ear post with a butterfly back and measure 2.4cm in diameter.
Each piece is made from natural wood and so will be completely unique. While the size and shape will be as pictured, there is considerable variation in the color and grain in every piece of wood.

About the Maker
Rowena has developed this range of jewelery using sustainably sourced native Irish materials to the greatest extent possible. Coming from a family of designer makers with a strong appreciation of naturally sourced products and materials, Rowena combines new with old in her process with includes laser cutting. She is passionate about the outdoors and their preservation.
Her work is finished with Burren wildflower beeswax which she gets from her Dad, who keeps bees! This seals and protects the wood and enhances the grain.
