A solid brass cardinal perches above a hand cast Himalayan bell. A bodhi leaf windcatcher dangles below, a traditional symbol of the infinite wisdom of Buddha nature. This unique and lovely chime makes a wonderful accent to the garden and porch areas. Made exclusively for dZi by the Tibetan colony of Lingtsang in northern India, this handsome Tibetan bell and chime are individually sand-cast in solid brass and carefully hand-tuned to ensure clarity of sound and tone.

This item is from dZi (pronounced ‘zee’), a fair trade supplier that employs over 1,000 artisans in the Himalayan region. Their name comes from the traditional Tibetan dzi bead, which is believed to evoke positive spiritual benefits. dZi was established in 1990 and became a founding member of the Fair Trade Federation in 1994.
