Pickin' and Weighin' Platter

This rectangular ceramic platter of Clementine Hunter’s  artwork depicts the weighing of cotton in the fields which determined how much each worker earned from their picking. This was a daily occurrence on plantations.

The Clementine Hunter ceramic collection is entirely made by hand and hand-painted. No two pieces are alike. Each piece has its own distinctive shape whose textured surface allows you to feel the passion in her work.
